CLASSICAL BALLET CAMPS

Dance camps enchant and enrich your child in the art of storytelling through dance and imagination! Children develop performance skills as they become part of the stroy with movement games, watching the ballet, learning choreography, prop making, and much more. We perform these classical story ballets at the end of each camp week for family and friends.

Each camp consists of 12.5 hours of instruction. We provide all materials and a healthy snack. Students must be potty trained and wear ballet clothing.

Tuition is $110 for each camp. We have some sliding scale openings. Contact Yasmin for an application.

Camp Schedule

Sleeping Beauty (Ages 5/6) * max enrollment = 14

July 21-25 :: 9-11:30 a.m.

Firebird (Ages 6-8) * max enrollment = 16

August 4-8 :: 9-11:30a.m.

Ballet Camp Teachers: Makayna (Principal), Feliz (Assistant)

Makayna has been dancing for fourteen years and is well versed in the techniques of various genres of dance icnluding latin, jazz, modern, lyrical, classical ballet and pointe, musical theatre and hip hop. She has worked with children of all ages as an instructor for dance camps and classes, as well as working as a recreational instructor for the County of Santa Cruz. Makayna is Dance Odyssey Studio's Pre-Ballet teacher.

Feliz is a dance/fitness instructor and a fourth-grade teacher.
